Personally I would love a RUF.

A lot of aftermarket manufacturers actually make a lot of parts for OEM cars, these parts can actually be of higher quality than OEM for a lot of cars. For example, Ohlins makes coilovers as OEM parts for many exotics like Lamborghini and Pagani. They make aftermarket coils for the FRS, S2000, and Mini. Now while the stock suspesion may be good, it isn't Ohlins good. Although, for the FRS they are one way adjustable, and while I am not very good at tuning suspesion set ups(yet atleast), you can get KW V3s which are 2 way and 1000 dollars cheaper. I am probably going to get KWs when I decide to build a full on track car. Anyway, as for Porsche I am sure if the aftermarket part is above and beyond OEM, I don't see a problem. Usually that is the case in the Porsche community though. So I think aftermarket is the only way to go.

Doest RAYS make a lot of OEM Nissan wheels or something like that?

I don't know if Rays does it for other car manufacturers, but I think the GTR, 370z, G35 all had wheels made by Rays. Enkei, BBS, even Rota make OEM wheels.

Yeah I know some special edition Miatas had BBS—and of course, plenty of Bimmers. I'd be interested to hear more about Rota's involvement with manufacturers...
This is a cool topic. I know the Mazdaspeed Protege came stock with Racing Beat suspension and sways.

Toyota contracts out wheels for their Asian markets. It isn't for high end cars obviously, usually it is for their south east markets, which makes sense because Rota makes their wheels in the Philippines.
Also, your picture was kinja'd!

Here's what I'm thinking. Body? OEM only. Porsche has enough OEM options to satisfy anybody. Wheels? I'd prefer OEM but if you go aftermarket it would have to be something super high quality (Volk, BBS, OZ Rally etc). For mechanical bits aftermarket is pretty much OK... I don't think any cheap aftermarket companies do anything for Porsche. But it has to be thought out. Porsches are so great from the factory I'd imagine they'd be super easy to mess u.
